Backstory

Lara Valtor was born on the planet Verokha, where she learned the ins and outs of high-G racing from a young age. Her natural talent and reckless abandon earned her a reputation as one of the best in the business. However, after a fateful encounter with a group of corporate mercenaries left her ship severely damaged and her crewmates dead, Lara made a pact with a shady underworld figure to trade her skills for a chance at freedom. Now, she navigates the treacherous waters of The Stellar Vault , always looking over her shoulder for signs of trouble.

Despite her tough exterior, Lara has a soft spot for stray animals and children. Her cybernetic eye is a constant reminder of the price she paid for her newfound freedom and the friends she lost along the way.

Her defining moment came when she stumbled upon an encrypted data-shard hidden within the ruins of an ancient civilization. The shard contained blueprints for a revolutionary new propulsion system, which Lara plans to use to fund her own independent mission.
