Backstory

Astrid Ersdotter was born into a life of quiet desperation in the dusty lands of Verokha . Her parents, struggling to make ends meet as farmers, instilled in her a strong sense of resourcefulness and cunning from a young age. As she grew older, Astrid's natural charisma and adaptability allowed her to excel at negotiating trade deals and managing her family's farm. However, it was during a chance encounter with Santiago Zieme , the enigmatic scholar, where he encouraged Astrid to go on adventures and explore the galaxy. She took his advice to heart, and set out. However, things did not go well. Astrid's ship was immediately attacked by pirates. She was taken hostage and soon sold to the Red Sun's Harvest project. She managed to escape, losing her left hand in the process. She eventually made her way back to Verokha , back to her family farm, swearing two things:

She would never leave the farm again.

If she ever saw Santiago again, she would kill him.
