Backstory

Brand Oaknuckle has long been the faithful sentinel of the wilds surrounding Durmchapel. Known for his stoic resolve and unrivaled woodcraft, Brand ensures the paths and borders remain secure for travelers and the townsfolk. Frequenting the nearby village of Berkeso, he trades pelts and herbs for the few comforts his solitary life requires. Having grown up in Durmchapel, a town steeped in history and darkened by recent draconic events, Brand learned from an early age the value of nature and community resilience. While much of his life is devoted to protecting his homeland, he is known for mentoring young rangers, imparting his knowledge of the primal world to the next generation.
