Their true name, memories, and personal history were systematically stripped away during a harrowing process known as 'The Quieting.' This alchemical conditioning and psychological erasure served to annihilate the person they once were.

This brutal transformation marked the symbolic death of their former self, leaving behind a husk of humanity devoid of desires or personal will. Through 'The Quieting,' the House of Silk forged a living weapon, perfectly obedient and ruthlessly efficient. They were reborn into the ranks of the Winter Guard, a silent, unfeeling instrument of control.

As a member of this elite force, the Creature serves as a living bulwark for the House of Silk's most powerful matriarchs and patriarchs. They possess no life beyond their designated duties, standing like statues in alcoves when not deployed. They do not eat in public, speak unless directly addressed, nor sleep in conventional barracks.

The Creature's presence on the streets of Chichingia is a chilling harbinger, often signaling the movement of high-ranking House of Silk members. Their indiscriminate lethality instills fear, causing the local populace to scatter in their wake. At this moment, the Creature maintains its ceaseless vigil, patrolling the perimeter of the House of Silk estate.
